a tomato mozzarella basil Christmas

So once again I created my favorite French Bread recipe found in The Bread Bible by Beth Hensperger. This is my absolute favorite bread book. Very easy to understand. A good fit for the novice baker. This bread is beautiful and tasty!
My brother-in-law makes the best lasagna every year for our Christmas dinner. Me, being the novice baker that I am, decided
to make an appetizer to join this meal. This was an easy addition to this wonderful meal and it was a hit! The recipe is quite simple.

1 or two French baguettes
fresh mozzarella, cheese sliced
roma tomatoes
fresh basil
olive oil or grape seed oil (or flavored oil of your choice)

The ingredient amounts depend on how much bread you slice up.
Place a tomato slice on the bread, mozzarella slice on the tomato and a basil leaf on the mozzarella. Drizzle a bit of olive oil on each bread slice. Line up your bread on a cookie sheet and broil for 3 to 5 min. Do not walk away from the oven... Keep your eye on your creation or it may turn into a carbon disaster! Put your little toasts on a platter and serve warm
